ndrea Lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by winning her first event in the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee has been successful at every level, most notably at Standford University earning 9 wins throughout her college career. She also spending 17 weeks as the most successful Women's Amateur in the World. In the Women's Amateur category, which had the highest ranking at the final game of the year in 2019 Lee was awarded the Mark H. McCormack Memorial Medal. She turned pro later that same year. Andrea Lee has made a career in professional golf, despite being an amateur player. This American LPGA Tour athlete has many surprising details that you may not know. Andrea Lee was born on 15th August 1997 in Los Angeles. James his father, James taught her to play golf when she was just five years old. At age 8 she started competing at tournaments. In just four years, earned 50 junior titles. She went to the finals of the US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. The age was 15 and her father acted as her caddie. At the age of 15, her father was a caddie. LPGA Tour invited her as an official sponsor for the her 2015 ANA Inspiration, where she was able to make the cut, but only by just one stroke. Lee played for the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team and at the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. The Stanford University's most decorated golfer to ever grace Stanford in 2016 when she was awarded nine titles in the following three years. Lee was forced to leave Stanford University and turned pro in 2019. Her amateur playing career spans 17 weeks at the top of the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee won an award called the Mark H. McCormack award in the season of 2019 after having been the top amateur. As an amateur, Lee achieved four holes in one round and one albatross. Lee finished among Top 10 once in her debut year on the LPGA Tour. She was a T7 finisher at the 2020 AIG Women's Open held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee won the first LPGA Tour triumph at the Portland Classic in 2022. She dedicated her win to her late father Min Lee, stating that he was a champion and believed in my abilities.
